Instructions for users of School laptops at home

• Access the laptop locally.
• - - enter the username as provided


• - - enter the password as provided


• - - log on to: xxxxx (this computer), not the domain stleonards-fife.org as this is for use in school only



• Ensure you are connected to your home broadband connection because without this connection you will not be able to link into the RDC service.



• Double click the St Leonards RDC access icon on the desktop and you should see a 'connecting' dialouge box



• Read the Notice to all account holders from ICT services warning message and click the 'OK' button to move to the next screen



• In the logon to windows box enter your current school user name and password to gain access to the RDC network.



• If the RDC icon is missing please go to:
  http://81.143.105.243/ or http://connect.stleonards-fife.org and follow the instructions.
